The Lake County Cowboys play in the Gridiron Football League (formerly known as the 8FL), along with nine other teams from Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Our Mission

The team's mission is to serve our community with pride and passion and to demonstrate the highest character, appreciation, and respect to our game and fans, teammates and sponsors.

One of the reasons we have created this football program in Round Lake is to provide an outlet for former high school, collegiate, and even recreational football players to continue their athletic and healthy lifestyles.  We hope to be an inspiration to our youths — we want them to know that football can be played safely well into their adult lives, and that playing football is a great way to develop relationships and give back to the community.
